The intern will be responsible for tracking, evaluating and researching wildlife legislation, making written and oral reports on that legislation, and assisting in communal staff responsibilities. An Alliance intern can look forward to gaining an expertise of the politics surrounding Alaska’s wildlife, working with an active and committed membership, and receiving training in a wide spectrum of non-profit work. We hope you will take this opportunity to learn how a non-profit organization works, spend time with dynamic people, and be involved in dramatic issues affecting Alaska’s wild creatures. Qualifications A successful candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, an ability to work as part of a team and with minimal supervision, and a commitment to wildlife conservation. Research and internet skills are important. Duration This full-time internship lasts 3 months and will be located in Anchorage, AK. Dates from January to April/May are flexible.
