Each year in May or June, the Octopus Project makes an expedition to our study sites in Prince William Sound and Kachemak Bay for annual surveys of octopus numbers and to collect more data for our studies. We are now in the process of creating visual records of our expeditions, including works of accomplished Artists, scaled images of prey remains found in Middens, and possibly a future image data base.
We also provide links here to a 1997 Amikuq flier summarizing results from our first two field seasons (1995-1996); and to grade-school and secondary school Education materials provided from our project.
