SHADOW3 Power Control Team,

Dr. Thomas Vincent.
The Power Control team is developing the platform and designing the thrusters,
bouyancy controls and stabilizers that allow SHADOW to move through
the water.
SHADOW3 Navigation Control Team,
Colorado School of Mines. Faculty advisor,
Dr. Tyrone Vincent.
Project supervisor, Dr. Kathy Skokan.
The Navigation Control team is working on the tracking system
that will allow SHADOW determine the range and direction to the octopus,
using a signal from a sonic tag attached to the animal. The Power and Control
teams will jointly develop controls systems for manuevering Shadow to keep the camera
pointed at the octopus, and entering and leaving stand-by mode.
